| JULY 19, 2025 -- Unfortunately, the hottest day of the recent heat wave fell on the night of Winchester’s meeting. Rather than brave the near 100˚ heat in an air conditioner-free building, the meeting was postponed to July 1. The Election of Officers will be held that night and the July 8 meeting has been canceled. We will return to our regular meeting schedule on July 22 with a regular meeting.
Work on our hall is moving forward with a couple of important projects completed. The old oval window above the entrance of the hall has been removed and the space has been filled in and covered with siding. A new Grange emblem has been printed and installed in the place of the window. We think the hall looks better than ever with this addition.
The 1952 storms and windows in the dining room and kitchen have been replaced by modern multi-pane windows that brighten up both rooms and give the windows a very clean appearance.
Looking ahead, we will be working on plans to replace our roof, an expensive project to say the least.
Coming up on August 9 we will be holding our annual Grange Fair at the hall and Tag Sale on the green. This year spaces on the green will be available for $15 each. Contact Patrick O’Brien if you are interested or come on the day of the Fair with

We are also excited to announce Dr. Jill Lopez will be providing mobile vet services during the Fair with her Vet Candy Mobile Clinic.
