	Aug News from Nutmeg Pomona No. 16

	AUGUST 20, 2023 -- Letters have been sent to each Grange in Nutmeg Pomona requesting the information for the 2023-24 handbook. Dues date was August 1st – has your material been sent to the Pomona Secretary Joanne Cipriano? Our last meeting was June 4th, as this was not an election year we only had one spot to fill. Geno Piacentini was Elected to a three-year term on the Executive Committee. Our next meeting will be Sunday September 24th at 2 o’clock at Beacon Valley Grange.

Join us twice a month at the Wallingford Grange Hall where you can do the craft of your choice and stay for the socialization, or we can teach you how to piece a quilt. These gatherings are open to all! You don’t have to be a grange member or a quilter to join. Quilts of Valor Program offers comforting quilts to veterans of all wars. The program is continuing to work towards making more finished quilts for now and in the future.
