Sorry, if you are looking for Nutmeg Pomona news is the April issue of the Connecticut Grange there is none. ; Secretary Joanne’s computer died unexpectedly just prior to reporting time and the Pomona meeting. If you didn’t attend you missed a great meeting. ; Forty eight in attendance and eleven received the Fifth Degree.

Apr News from Wallingford Grange No. 33

Thank you to the Lyman Hall High School Agricultural Program for coming out in March for our lecturer’s program presenting about who they are, what they do, and upcoming community activities they’ll be doing in the future. Our next Grange meeting is Thursday, April 11, at 6:30pm, at the Grange Hall.

Mar News from Nutmeg Pomona No. 16

The next meeting of Nutmeg Pomona will be held on St. Patrick’s Day- March 17 at Cheshire Grange. The noise you will hear will not be Clancy lowering the boom but Master Danny O’Lanoue rapping the gavel promptly at 2:00 signaling the start of the meeting.

Feb News from Nutmeg Pomona No. 16

The next meeting of Nutmeg Pomona is Sunday March 17th with a Degree rehearsal on March 10th. ; Both meetings will be held at Cheshire Grange starting at 2 o’clock. We will be conferring the Fifth Degree. Now is the time to line up your candidates. Refreshments are in charge of Greenfield Hill and Wallingford Granges.

Jan News from Nutmeg Pomona No. 16

A popular winter song starts “Oh the weather outside is frightful”. That’s how the weather was for our December Pomona meeting. The drive over was rainy and foggy but light – the ride home was all of these but dark and dreary. If it had been snow, we would still be shoveling.
