AUGUST 9, 2026 -- On Juneteenth, Wallingford Grange hosted a youth event where youth learned several different colonial dishes! Youth at the event made Johnny Cakes, Pease Porridge, and hermit cookies while learning basic kitchen skills along the way. Youth also were able to discover how families cooked and ate in colonial times.

JULY 20, 2026 -- With Pomona meeting only once each quarter there is not much to report but check us out next month and see the slate of officers who will lead our Pomona for the next two years.

JULY 7, 2026 -- Wallingford Grange held a wonderful craft workshop for youth in late May. There, we introduced young makers to the art of weaving and making a “colonial” mug rug in a relaxed, supportive setting. Hopefully a few will be entered in our Sept. Grange Fair!

JUNE 16, 2026 -- Wallingford Grange has hosted several fun events recently. First, we hosted our 3rd annual Battle of the Best Pizza in Wallingford contest. Different pizzerias throughout all of Wallingford competed for the coveted title. In the end, Fabi’s Pizza of Wallingford took home the gold and finished first.
