Jul News from Wallingford Grange No. 33

Wallingford Grange will be having several more events coming up this summer. In July, we will be having our next Meatball Luncheon Fundraiser on Saturday, July 13th between 12pm-2pm. In conjunction with that, we will have a youth event starting at 10am where youth can learn how to make their own fresh butter.

Jul News from Nutmeg Pomona No. 16

At our June meeting, we had Election of Officers with few changes. Donald Lanoue remains Master, Robert Charbonneau - Lecturer and Joanne Cipriano - Secretary. Changes: Steward John Taylor, Assistant Steward Joe Bernhardt and Executive Committee Ruel Miller and Stephanie Thompson.

Jun News from Wallingford Grange No. 33

Wallingford Grange will be having several events coming up this summer. In June, we will be having our next Pancake Breakfast fundraiser on June 8 between 8:30am-11am. In conjunction with it, there will be a free “Make a Cookie for Dad” event for youth to participate in.

Not much news to report from Nutmeg Pomona this month- not even some juicy gossip. But as the saying goes... no news is good news. Next month will be different as we will have Election of Officers between the time I am typing this and the next issue of the Granger.

May News from Nutmeg Pomona No. 16

Sorry, there was no news in the April issue of the Connecticut Granger. A call for help from two of my nephews and the computer repair all confirmed the computer was dead and I needed a new one.

May News from Wallingford Grange No. 33

Wallingford Grange has been keeping quite busy and active. For the month of May, we will be hosting several events. First, there will be our “Battle of the Pizzas” event where seven pizzerias from throughout Wallingford will compete for the title of “Best Pizza in Wallingford”.

See and learn more about both growing a garden plot and the many flowers and vegetables that have grown so far as the summer continues to move along in full swing. The location is TBD and will be announced as the date gets closer.
