The Quilts of Valor Program offers comforting quilts to veterans of all wars. Join us on this date for the first class to make quilts. Future classes will be held monthly on the first and third Monday of every month until Veteran's Day. Participants will be able to learn this skill to help towards a finished quilt that will be done by the Grange Fair. A ceremony will then be held on Veteran’s Day to present to a Veteran. Entering into this year's Grange fair? Drop off your exhibit(s) between 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.

SAVE THE DATE for this year's Wallingford Grange Fair! Enter your produce, flowers, baked and canned goods, your needlework, or handcrafted items. Or just come to browse the entries. There will be several children's activities in our "Backyard Shenanigans" kid zone, ensuring a good time for all youngsters. Other fun activities planned include chicken coop bingo, touch a truck, live music, and demos focused on sewing, crocheting, and operating a hand radio. There will also be several craft vendors and non- profits. Lunch will be available.

The main focus of this meeting will be on organizing and planning fair events at the fair. If you also have ideas for new fundraisers or educational events the Grange can do in the future and/or would like to contribute to them, feel free to come by!

The 140th annual session of the Connecticut State Grange will be held in person and via Zoom on October 17, 18, and 19. It will start at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 17th, and end on Saturday, October 19th, at 4 p.m. All sessions, meals, and the 6th degree will be held at the hotel.

Veterans eat FREE in honor of Veterans Day. Enjoy buttermilk and special flavor pancakes, with sausage and choice of beverage, for $6. Kids portion available for $3. Bring your family or meet your besties for a sit-down & chat!
